Finding the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of a set of numbers is a key skills for math proficiency. One specific area that LCM comes into play is when adding or subtracting fractions and mixed-numbers. When an LCM of denominators is being determined it is referred to as a Least Common Denominator or LCD. Below I have included a decision tree for use when trying to determine the LCM/LCD of two numbers. Hopefully you can use it in your current and/or future math applications.
